With reference to your despatch No. 197 of the 15th December last I have the honor to acquaint you that the Queen's Exequatur authorising W. Waldemar Nissen to act as Consul for Hamburg at Hong Kong received Her Majesty's sanction on The 17th inst., and that The Notification of H. M. approval of Mr. Nissen's appointment appeared in the Gazette of the 20th inst.
